Welcome to FOEL
Our research focus is to understand and exploit novel optoelectronics/photonics with features – area coverage, multi-functional operation, and geometrical forms – that would be impossible to achieve using traditional, wafer-based technologies. Our team will leverage our expertise to create novel techniques that address challenges in multi-functional nanophotonics, advanced optoelectronic devices/systems, and next-generation optical healthcare systems. The long term goal is to develop and translate these technologies that are currently in bench-top status to successful industrial devices through engineering efforts and field validations
